Vegas add WSHL vet Crowchild to roster
WSHL veteran Johan Crowchild is the latest to sign on with the expansion Las Vegas Thunderbirds. Crowchild spent last season in Cold Lake scoring seven goals and 18 points in 44 games played.
Coach Hyrsky first saw Crowchild at the WSHL Showcase saying, "John Marks and myself had a chance to see Johan during the showcase last season and again at the Tri-City Storm camp. We liked his offensive ability and his determination. Johan is also tough in the faceoff circle."
With a season of experience already expect Crowchild to continue to refine his game in 2019-20 wearing the Thunderbirds sweater.
"We look forward to helping him in understanding the 200-foot game and become a complete player."
