Tbirds to host Ontario this weekend

Las Vegas Thunderbirds (10-4-0-0) are back at SoBe Ice Arena this weekend taking on their division rival Ontario Avalanche (7-12-0-1). Puck drop on Saturday is scheduled for 5:05 PM with the rematch on Sunday at 1:05 PM.

Leading the Las Vegas offense through 14 games has been Tomas Urbanec with 31 points, 13th best in WSHL scoring with 12 goals and 19 assists. Emil Svartbro (12 goals, 15 assists) has also provided plenty of scoring for the Thunderbirds. Six other players have at least eight points to help power the attack.

The teams have met just once previous this season with Las Vegas winning on the road 7-0 on October 19.
