Retired Military Mates Hal & Jim Support T-Birds

Meet Hal and Jim, who served together on the USS Somers as Machinist Mates and played country music with a band in the Philippines while proudly serving in the Navy.

After they left the Navy they lost touch, until Hal tracked Jim down after 50 years. Now they get together for the USS Somers reunion every year, enjoy supporting the T-birds, writing songs, and playing country music with their band, Deep Water.

You can find Hal and Jim in the top row supporting the T-birds at all home games. They are proud to have served our country and appreciate the great entertainment the T-birds provide.
